On our way to the mall for dinner.  Leaving dc today...the kids seem to not want the trip to end.
Newseum is done...the kids pretended to be newscasters. I don't see it in too many futures...  I saw lots of laughing.   We are off to see Jefferson memorial, FDR, World War 2 memorial and American History museum.   No rain thanks for the prayers!
We are at the Library of Congress. Wow!   I would never get any reading done here because of the beauty of the building.   On our way to the air and space museum.
Well it's raining again. We came in with rain and end with rain. Thank God the weather was beautiful on Tues and Wed.  We are checked out of the hotel and on our way to the Library of Congress.  After that we are walking to museums and monuments.  Pray the rain ends by noon.

Pictures are posted from yesterday!

At the National Cathedral.  Listening to the pre-service music.  Kids are taking pictures of the beautiful stained glass windows.   God is good.
At zoo....eating again???
Lions tigers and bears oh my...and we're off to the zoo!
We are currently solving a murder at the crime museum. It. Goes without saying that these guys and girls need to work on some crime solving skills.
Last night was an adventure in patience. While waiting for our lost bus driver we sang Christmas songs with Vincent our flutist. The ride home was quiet as the children passed out from exhaustion. We got to sleep until 7:45!

Today brings us the crime museum and then the zoo...apparently today's theme is life behind bars.  :)  We then make our way to the National Cathedral, some memorials and Pizza delivered to our room.

Arlington was amazing. We laid a cross on Mrs. Riegle's nephews grave. Then we participated the wreath ceremony. The Holocaust museum was somber and the kids were very moved. Dinner at the mall and now we are off to the Vietnam memorial. The day was wet and cold but an amazing experience.
Eating lunch at the natural history museum...

Rise and shine and give God your glory. Breakfast and on the bus ready to go see some sights.
